Going Korea soon~ But will miss the last 2 days of shopping in Seoul... Will spent most of the time in jeju island only...

Went to walk around with ming hao and guo xiang yesterday... Was intimidated in the morning... will never go back there again( i wont say where to prevent misunderstandings)... The main course for lunch was good and so was the za jiang mian and xiao long bao for dinner.... had a great time... watched Narnia too~

Met up with Jerome today... long time since i saw him... thought he slimmed down quite a bit...

Celebrated my birthday with my JC friends yesterday... Thanks people... Went E2max to watch "The Orphan"... OMG Kinda nice... definitely it will be a unforgettable birthday celebration... Went pool after that... went aunt's house after the celebration, was surprised by the swensen's ice cream cake... But the cute thing is, the picture is Winne the pooh...

Finally, i am a full pledge marine... been waiting for this day for damn long... however, after knowing that i am posted to tuas, there's a sudden urge not to pass out... All my closer friends are now in changi but i am in tuas... I will miss the days where we try to skip as many duties as possible and the good times where we crap like no body's business in camp...

Went out with camp people on Thursday... Ate at kuishinbo and then went around Toy"R"Us and play around like a 3 year old kid... It's been damn long since i enter in there... Felt like a kid back then... Quite weird, a bunch of army guys playing like kids inside there... Watched Unstoppable at night... It was awesome, or at least i enjoyed it... It's unlike the usual movie plot... something new that i thought was impressive...

Went Bugis with Ming Hao and Ching Kee yesterday... Went Sim lim as ching kee wanna buy ipod touch... Didn't buy in the end... Decide to find out more about it 1st... Went to let's sweets to eat after the search... All you can eat for 60 minutes... The food was nice but there isn't much variety... Love the choc banana waffle ice cream, pasta and chicken nuggets... But it's kinda stress to eat with a timer counting down beside you... haha... Watched reign of assasin after that, been ages since i last watch a Chinese movie... Wasn't that nice but still okay...

4 more weeks to end of course and i can finally start studying soon!!! Can't wait for it... This coming week will be a tough one but i shall endure it through as the saying goes, tough times don't last, tough men do...

Went out with shawn and Ching kee for a movie and then have lunch at handburger... The concept was quite all right... Went some music library after that... Shawn inspired me with some Beethove'sn melody and the score...

Had a gathering with hussnien, muthu, ash, jia kiang, ibrahim and ricky yesterday... It's been a freaking long time since i met them other than jia kiang... Went Newyork Newyork to eat... Ash, ibrahim, muthu and hussnien ignored the menu which describes the yankee burger as a 4 people serving and ordered 2 of them to share... In the end even with every one's help, we still barely finish 1/2 the proportion of fries... Take away for movie in the end... I ordered some devil fiery fish and chips as it reminds me of the song run devil run... Haha... Resident evil was average only... Didn't regret watching though...

Oh yeah hari raya, so i get to book out on Thursday... Went to Malaysia for photo shoot as 2 of my cousins just graduated from university... I will be next!!! haha... Bought clothes and shoes... Whole day gone there...

Went playnation to celebrate wei qin's birthday on Saturday... Played quite a few board games... Felt damn tired after that as it's been sometime i used my brain to think... haha...

Wanted to update my passport picture yesterday but didn't as i woke up too late... Shall update soon as i need to go Malaysia next next Friday for some photo taking... Did not go out this weekend as i got lots of stuffs to settle so that i will get a chance to book out on Friday safely next week...

Went Marina Square to meet Ming Hao, Wei Xiang and Shawn yesterday... Edward did not join us as he woke up late... We planned to watch Liar Game but they did not have seats... So we went to play arcade and Pool... Bought a book to bring into camp and read... i think it's those detective kind of book... Death Message... Went off at 6 for family gathering and ending my day with Bowling at west coast...

My course is ending soon and i will be going to probably Changi camp...

It's the first time i am don't feel frustrated on a Sunday morning as i do not have to book in today~

curry chicken burger... Wasn't too bad, shall try Watched sorcerer's apprentice yesterday... I was awed by all the stuffs they did... Although they had a typical plot, i really enjoyed it... Ate at burger bench & bar before the movie... Had Japanese wasabi fish burger next time...

Played Basketball at the arcade, almost got into stage 4 again... Damn... Time crisis 4 is a fail fail fail, needs more practice...

Just earned the title "Marksman" and $200 last Thursday~

Went marina square yesterday to watch inception... That was really a nice show... Ming hao told me the general idea of the story so i am not that lost at the start...
Ate at Changing Appetites before the movie... Thanks to some guy who is late, we only have about 15 minutes to consume our food... Shannon cancelled his Frankenstein mudpie as there's no time for him to finish if we were to leave together...

OMG, i am damn bored these few days... Sian of my DS games already... Anyway, went orchard to shop yesterday before going to my aunt's house for steamboat and then ending my day at the pool fusion before going home...

Went justacia to celebrate jeanette's and han wee's birthday... However to me, it feels more like a mini gathering of some JC friends... Had a good chat before going back to my camp....

Really hope that i can book out early this week... So please don't rain on Friday again!!!!

Went Sakura at Downtown yesterday for section gathering... Feels kinda weird as we have not met for a week and suddenly we are together again... Most of the people in our section were there.. Finally, BMT is over and i can get a week of good rest... After the tiring 24km route march, Our rest before the pass out parade was disturbed by the heavy rain... It last throughout our 2 hours rest and because of the rain, we have to implement our wet weather plan... Although everyone have been waiting for this day ever since the start of BMT, it's also quite sad as that may be the last time we will ever meet after being together for 17 weeks, at least 6 days every week... After our 24km route march, phrases like " Come on guys, it's our last cool down together...", " Our last water parade..." or "Fall in properly for the last time please" really makes us feel very depressed... Even though we promised to meet up as frequent as possible, we knew it will be difficult as we will have our new army lives and our own private lives including meeting up with Secondary and JC friends... Haiz, all these have been expected since the start of BMT but i just cant suppress those feelings... Talking about the 24km route march, it's really a tough one... In fact, all the route marches are tough, one way to endure it through is to distract yourself from it as long as possible... As it is just following the person in front of you, you don't really have to concentrate on walking, so what i do is to switch to auto pilot mode which requires practice... And then just think about things like what you wanna do or food you wanna eat after you book out or think about the previous messages people sent you and analyse it properly for any double meaning or guess the feelings of the sender when he/she sends you the message... It's a good way for me though... I managed to complete all the route marches using these technique...

Went to watch Eclipse on Saturday, i find it quite nice as compared to their past 2 movies... More action this time as expected, however i thought the enemies are a little too weak as compared to the vampires and the shape-shifters...

Went to Jia Kiang's house for a mini class gathering... Played card games like Sabotage, Citadel and the long-time-no-play Bridge... Quite a fun and memorable gathering, hope to have more of that in the future...

Guess what, it's my last book in!!!! I do not need to go back to tekkong anytime soon after this week... Although i had quite a great time there, it's always nicer to be in Singapore... I learnt quite a few things there... Oh and i don't think i have mention it before, the sky there is really beautiful... i Enjoy looking at the skies there as the clouds are unusually pretty and i also see rainbows forming up there...

Yesterday was the first time i rotted at home as i am too tired to go out and play soccer... Played DS all the way till night... haha...

Went orchard yesterday with yuyang and zhi jian to buy some clothes... Walked around for 3 hours before going to uniqlo and buy the vest i wanted... Went to play basketball with balvindar and friends after that... It has been a long time since i play a sport... Haha... Feel quite good... This coming week will be games week where company compete with each other in various sport... Balvindar and me joined water polo... We will be most likely in the first team... But to win, it will be quite hard but possible as we have a water polo player in our team...

AT LAST, All my outfield activities for BMT is over... And what's more, 3 more weeks to Pass Out Parade!!!!

Went out with Desmond from my section to Sim Lim... We went to buy DS lite... It all started like that...
10 days ago, i started to talk to him about Pokemon and then we realised both of us play the same version of the game... Then he told me the 5th generation is coming out next year... So we became damn excited and decided to buy DS... But as the 5th version is not out yet, we decided to play the 4th generation to pacify us first... Haha...

Came back from NUS civil engineering interview today... Was accepted by the professors on the spot... Now i have to choose between Physics in NTU and Civil engineering in NUS... I am now stuck in between... I don't know which to choose...

Will be going on a field camp next Saturday... This means i will not be back for 12 days excluding tomorrow... So sian... I need to wash clothes liao... Oh and i wont be showering for 6 days while in the jungle!!!!

Last week's intensity was moderate to me because there is ippt on Friday so they did not make us strain too much... I finished my prawn crackers on Wednesday!!! Not enough tidbits... Shall bring in more this week as i will be in there for 12 days...

Wohoo~ Got accepted into NTU Physics!!!! 1st choice... Haha... Got damn excited... But i am starting to wonder if i can score in the course... Yesterday, when i was sleeping as other people are cleaning their rifles... I woke up when i heard my friends talking about physics... And OMGeverything they said seems super foreign to me... They also talk about JC physics which i have completely forgotten about them... Seems like i shall use the free time i have in Army to revise my JC physics and read more physics related books... I have not accepted the course as i am now waiting and hoping that NUS will offer some course to me...

This week in camp, Someone i thought with bad attitude changed my impression of him completely... I was wrong about him... Haha...

OMG, last week was such a tough week... I am really glad it's finally over... Next week will be a slack day... They even encouraged us to bring reading materials there to read... haha... Oh and i am getting worried about my university admissions... One by one, almost all of them have received calls from universities for interviews or mails telling them that they have been accepted... And for me, NONE!!! Really hope to get one soon and gosh, i really regretted not applying for SMU...

Last week was one of the most interesting week compared to the past 6 weeks... As everyone is losing their temper because of several events, you will find out how each and everyone really behaves... You will also know who are your real buddies and who are those that you shouldn't even get close to... I really love to study every one's personality... It just seems fun to me... Haha...

A slack day today... It's even more slack than the first week we went in as there are quite an amount of admin work... And on Friday, we went Singapore Discovery Centre to see some Army exhibits and learn about their history... I think it's main objective is to make us feel that the Army is capable of protecting the nation against other country... Had dinner there and we were released there at around 5+...

Oh will be going for Field camp soon... heard that there will be sergeants going around to steal your rifle so you will be "awarded" confinements which means you cant book out for a week... Garrett told me about his brother's story which makes me praise his brother for his courage...
His brother and his buddy's rifle were stolen by the buddy... After they realised it, they sneaked inside the sergeant's bunk and steal back their rifle... And the sergeants never said anything the next day morning... They were not given any confinements too... So brave sia... If they got caught for sneaking in, they will be charged with even a heavier sentence... It really impresses me...

went for soccer session with Ren Zhi and a few platoon mates today... fun but tiring... Sprained my ankle...

Long Weekend but ending soon~ :(

OMG was about to submit my post when firefox suddenly shut down, now i need to retype again!!!

Booked out on Thursday and went back to rest as i was sick since Monday...

Went out with Secondary school friends to play basketball and went to eat at northpoint after that... Saw sebas, boon yang, benedict and yi xuan there too... Chatted for a while and shannon and gang came... Seems like a mini secondary school gathering sia...

Went to watch "Kipnapper" yesterday... I thought it was quite nice... Went donovan's house with sebas and Des to watch the match of Manchester against Chelsea and the match between Arsenal and wolves... Enjoyable gathering... Hope to have more of that again... And we missed our last bus home... We saw it reaching the bus stop and we were opposite the road... did not chase as we think we would not be so unlucky... Took cab in the end... $18.30 from pasir ris to yishun MRT station... That's about all...

A few more hours and off to tekong again... Last week was quite enjoyable... Whether it's my extremely optimistic character or what, i think we must enjoy everything we do so that time will pass faster... Our whole platoon is more united as compared to previous week... Oh and we had a soccer session yesterday at Yishun... 8 people including me... We planned that when we were in camp... It's good to have a common topic... nothing much to say... I learnt a few interesting phrases there, like " Pain is weakness leaving your body" and so on... Forgot the rest already.. Shall update when i remember... Nothing much...

The only interesting fact is that i am starting to read newspapers... It's because that's the only thing that link us from the island to the outside world...

Back from Tekong!!!! So tired... Shall elaborate about the colourful events there later... A level results 1st...

My results are just average results but i am totally surprised and satisfied with my results other than my GP, see what i expected and you will know why...

My results are not fantastic so i do not have to celebrate... Haha... And the next day: "Here comes army"...

Which is where the headquarters is... Which means there are many big shots around, so sergeants have to be more strict... But fortunately, our company is the lucky one who is not located there but in another camp called the Rocky Hill Camp... There should be 3 companies there including us, however the other two will only come earliest by May... So we are the only company there... And since rocky hill camp is located far away from the headquarters, we are out of their radar!!! which means that things are a little more relaxed and slack there... I landed in a company called Quebec... 16 people make a section, 4 sections make one platoon and 4 platoons make a company... Most of the company are located in a place called LadangHaha... The big shots only come once in a blue moon to check and those are mostly the days that we will get punished by our sergeants... So the moment we see our sergeants become unusually strict, that means that the big shots are most likely to be around...

One more thing, the food there is really quite nice, they also provided ice cream every tuesday... The people there distribute food to us like they are feeding pigs... Although we ate alot, we get hungry very easily too... i think i have become fatter by 2 kg... Haha...

Shall not waste my two days and go out now... Update next time~

Anyway, this is the compliment board... Credits to May...

Ended my contract with Marks and Spencer after 1.5 months... Felt a little sad... I felt sad as i just left a family filled with laughter... Before i went in, my impression of a working society is that there will be back-stabbing and lots of little ploys to bring people down... And that's one of the reasons why i wanted to work so that i can get use to the society... However, on my first day of work which seems like yesterday, they put all my arguments down... I still remember it vividly, the moment i step in to the staff area, the security guard greeted me warmly and chat with me till a staff came to guide me... After the first few days of work, i realised that there isn't any back-stabbings between them... All of them are like a big family, all of them just joke around with each other... This makes me very worried as i will be only staying here for 1+ months and if i get too close to them, it will be hard for me to leave them in the end, so i began to close myself up by not talking or closing down any conversation with them... But soon, i failed as the way they treated me makes me feels like i am willing to fall into a trap, i started to crap around with them especially paul and nolan... And just as it feels like i have just started to enjoy working, my contract is ending... Haiz, that's life, separation is inevitable, i wonder how am i going to cope when my National Service ended 2 years later, when all your brother in arms are all going to have their own life and may not meet each other again after what we have went through for 2 years... 2 years seems long but if you went through JC education, you won't think so anymore...

Anyway, Nolan gave me some perfume while Manfred and shafiqa gave me a packet of rock candy as a farewell gift... Emi gave me a necklace from Bali too... Before i end work, Desmond told me this, " Congratulations, you have so far been the best of all the temporary staffs... What a pity that you are going NS or we will sign you..." Quite touching, but i know the 1st part is a "graduation speech"... He said it just to make it a happy ending, however the latter part about the contract is real as he just rephrase what my store manager said...

All in all, i have learnt a lot during my "stay" in M&S... As compared to other stores, i think M&S is slightly better as apart from a 6-day week, we have shorter working hours that gives us more freedom to do what we want, lots of friendly staffs that will abet you whenever you need assistance... I think M&S staffs have better pay, apart from the $1.2k, they also receivecommission every month based on how well the store does... And if my calculations did not go wrong, they are working for at least $8/hour... And i have not include the 11 days leave in a year for a sales associate... Oh and the staffs there are seriously very hardworking, i wonder sometimes that is it because of the commission they receive every month... Haha... Other than better monetary benefits, what M&S aims is totally different from other department stores... Our target audience is not just normal customers, we depend on regular customers... And that's why we concentrate on quality and personalised service...Unlike other stores, we serve a customer throughout a customer's visit at M&S... This not only make the customer happy, it also gives us different experiences as we can learn different things from attending to customer on the selling floor to the fitting room... And what gives you the satisfaction is not just a "thank you" from a customer after he/she is leaving the store but the customer saying "Hi, nice to see you again" the next time he/she visits the store again... This means that your service is really so good that he/she remembers you... And because our store do not have much customers flowing in and out as compared to other stores, we can really concentrate on giving the best service to every customer there... The above is just my view about M&S, it is not to target any other stores...

Woke up early and went downstairs to run today, feels kind of giddy... Just want to train a bit before going in to NS on Saturday so it won't be so tough... I am so scared of my A level results... Ever since i knew that i am getting my results on Friday, it always seems to me that it is tomorrow... It just seems so near... To me, going JC is like a gamble, Double or nothing... If you pass, you get to go to University a year ahead of others... But if u fail, you will waste 2 years and will lag behind... Gambling 2 years for 1? It seems unfair, however when u think in another perspective, time is precious and you can't buy it, so gambling two years for 1 may not be unfair anymore... I really don't wanna lose right now... I don't know how to pick up and continue if i fail... But i know i will not give up... But i just hope for the best... I have been lucky for the past few times, hope that lady luck will not abandon me now...

The compliments board for January is out today... I got 4 compliments, ranked 6th out of 7 people in menswear... Took 15 hangers home today so that i can bring to army camp...

Last week of work... So fast... I really enjoy working there... Good times really flies... Next Sunday is already my last day of work... Oh, my enlistment date have been pushed from 4 march to 6 march as it is confirmed that the A level results will be released on the 5th of march... Kind of scared... Every time i am working, i will think about my A level results whenever i got nothing to do... "Working here is fun, but i will never come back to again right? Unless i fail my A levels......." Every time i thought of it, it creeps me... Yes i like working there, but definitely not working for good as a sales advisor... Haiz... 6 days till end of work, 11 days to A level results and 12 days to enlistment!!! Anyway, going to buy army spectacles with Shannon tomorrow after work... Shall prepare to pack for army soon~

Watched Valentines Day yesterday after work, was alright... Watched it just because Taylor Swift played a part in the movie... Knew from my cousin that Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner were together... And Taylor Swift's " I'd lie" was written about him... For those who doesn't know who Lautner is, he is the one who played the role of " Jacob Black" in the movie "Twilight" and "New Moon"...

Despite slacking sometimes i got praised by my store manager today saying that i am hardworking!!! So surprised... My manager told me today that his boss (which is the store manager) praised me and that's why they ask me if i could extend my contract yesterday... Quite happy as the store manager is the highest position one can get in Marks & Spencer centrepoint...

Baked cookies at Jolene's house with Shannon and Jeanette yesterday, fun experience... Was quite a success... I can even memorise the receipe now... Haha...

A fast week this week... Didn't feel as tired as last week before my break comes... This is mainly because of the lack of customers last Tuesday and Wednesday... Thursday and Friday was normal but Saturday and Sunday were a chaos... The shoppers mainly just messed up the whole place, leaving us no time for a breather... Oh and my manager told me that last year, 2 customers bought stuffs of a total bill of $16,000!!! They bought 108 business shirts and many more... My first reaction was like," Wow, they buy for whole year arh?"...

Went 15 minutes at lasalle to eat their Fish and Chips today... Was supposed to go Raffles place to submit my time sheet so that i can get by pay by 10 February... But i forgot to get a stamp from Marks& Spencer for approval... So i went back there and get my stamp... Without student price in MRT fares is just scary, the rate of cash i used to top up is like twice a week... I started spending my "pay" even before it reaches my bank account...

My 1st 3 days of work was considered pleasant... Everyone there in my department treat me in a very nice manner...

1st day:
The moment i walked into the security room...
Guard: New here?
Me: Ya... 1st day...
Guard: what's your name?
Me: Chee Wee
Guard: I am uncle ahmad, any easier name to call you?
Me: Chew...
Guard: okay chew, i ask amy out to tell you what to do...

From that day onwards, everyone called me chew or chewy... Because they can't pronounce my name properly... My manager was very good to me, he is quite a nice man other than his name which is called "Desmond"... Reminds me of my friend, so I am not quite comfortable in addressing him as manager... Everyone there call him "boss", which was quite a nice term t0 use, maybe i shall try to use it next time...

The first day i was there, i was quite surprised that there are only 3 guys including me in the Mens wear department... It feels kinda weird... Haha...

The second day was a quiet day as everyone kinda know me already but do not have a common topic to talk about... So it was more like they talk and i listen... Only Desmond keep joking with me... Haha...

Yesterday was quite a enjoyable day as they keep making fun of each other... During break time, the 2 guys name Manfred and Paul are joking that they are gays with each other, then Desmond will be the "Fathers of gay"... That was quite funny... Both of them joke with each other perfectly... As in the moment one of them mentioned something, the other will know what to expect next... And they only know each other for 2 months... Haha...

Of course, there are customers who asked questions that i can't answer... One of them asked me about the difference between cotton, viscose and modal... All these are different types of materials... I was stunned by the question and normally, i will use my standard phrase when i am stunned by customers, "I am not sure, but i will check for you? Hold on please..." Then i request for help... Haha... Another asked if a certain business shirt is for long or short hands... Haha... Weird way of asking though... So i stick back to my standard phrase and managed to pull it off...

Last few days left for me to slack or should i say rot now... going to work at Marks and Spencer as a sales associate from this Friday onwards... My off day will only be Monday and that means that i can only have enough rest on that day... Unlike 2 years ago, i do not have any plans on how to spend the money i earn from work as i feel that i do not need anymore things since i am going in to army soon... So i think the best option is to save all the money till i think of what to buy...

Friday:
Went to aunt's house for BBQ to New Year celebration... Reach there at evening and went to play basketball at the street basketball court nearby... After that was just me spamming all my favourite BBQ food down my stomach... Haha...

Saturday:
Went for my secondary school BBQ at sembawang park...
Two sad news:
-The direct bus service from my house to sembawang park has been terminated...
-I do not have student price for the transport anymore...

Everyone was updating the other on their current details including our secondary school teacher... We are also taking out the interesting activities we had during our secondary school days... My teacher did not forget me, the first thing he said when he saw me was, " MR PHUA!!! "... Haha... He also talk about how i lie to him that i had 7 siblings for 4 years... I said that because i wanted to skip the meet-the-parent session because my mom was supposed to be busy taking care of all my siblings... Haha...
Went home at bout 10.30 and then went to watch soccer with Desmond til 1...

Today:
Went for Marks and Spencer interview in the morning and Recruit Express in the afternoon... I think i will get the Marks and Spencer job soon... Although it does not pay well, the duration they expect fits perfectly into my schedule... If i get the job, i will have to work til 28 February before my enlistment on a 6-day week basis...

Went Xing Wang Hong Kong Cafe to eat on Friday... The food was neither nice-looking or very tasty... The only praise i can think of giving is that food is served in food proportion... Haha... Went aunt house to celebrate Christmas after that... Played basketball at the "street basketball" court... Because it really looks like one... Shall take a picture of it next time... Went for dinner( Rice with turkey and ham and some other vegetables which i don't eat)... Played bridge after that for a few hours and went home...

Sunday:
Went Marina Square to watch Sherlock Holmes... I think the show is quite nice... I like the plot and there are subtitles in the show!!! :)

Monday:
Went Geylang west Community Centre to play soccer with Ren Zhi and his friends... Was quite fun and my skills have de-proved... Other than my dribbling skills and speed that have not changed much, my finishing, stamina and tackling skills have de-proved greatly...

Time flies so fast... Year 2009 is ending in a few days time and i am going for army...

Christmas Eve... Nothing much to do... Celebrating with family through dinner later... Went Converse warehouse sale with Desmond yesterday... We met at 1 and then keep talking all the way til 6 when we went home without stopping.. Quite surprising... Canot believe that i can actually talk so much... He bought a pair of shoe and one shirt... Nothing much...

Have been rotting alot this week... Only went out to swim on Monday, Bowling on Tuesday and the sale on Wednesday... The moment i reach home, i will be addicted to maple...

Whooo~ Went to play basketball with Wesley, Donavan, Wei He, Chee Shiang and Yi Hong today... Tiring but fun... Everyone changed except for our friendship which still bind us together as one... After a few matches against ourselves, some people from Ahmad Ibrahim came to challenge us... But we still won the two matches we have against them... After that, had one on one with Wesley and i won... :)
In the past, i used to lose to him every time, finally won him... Jun zi bao chou, shi nian bu wan... Haha... Went Northpoint for bubble tea and we headed for home at around 6...

10 days after end of exams:
Went interview early in the morning today... Went for some interview for distributing fliers... $7/hour... Just fill in the form and it is done... Saw wei lun walking out of there when i was about to walk in... Went Kovan for some interview for uniqlo's sales assistant at 12 today... The board here says "walk-in interview from 12 to 5pm".. They were right, we reach there at 12.30 and waited til 4.30 for a minute one-to-one interview... Hope i can get the job... I am very tired throughout today... Watched soccer yesterday at midnight, Liverpool against Arsenal... 2-1... A fascinating 1st half and a disastrous 2nd...

On Saturday, i went to revenue house for some sushi buffet from 2.30 to 5.30pm... went there with an empty stomach and i filled it just within 30 minutes... Compared to Sakae Sushi, this was better in terms of variety, it has a much more range of choices... Other than the sushi available, we are allowed to order other food or desserts and it provide free flow of drinks... However, the sushi at Sakae was better for me... Skipped dinner that day...

Yup... Shall update about my birthday... It was Saturday when i was taking the lift on my way to woodlands to study... All of a sudden, surprise!!!, Jas jump and tap my shoulder, she then brought me to a void deck near my house and i can see Eng Hwee, Yin xiu and Ke qin there with a cake... Yup... Then they gave me my present... The 3 of them bought me a lovely cap and RenZhi giving me something to decorate my house... Shall not elaborate on that... Haha... And of course, after photo taking and the blowing of candles, Yin xiu suggested playing cards while waiting for Zheng Rui... Played Bridge and the never-ending Cheat... Went Sembawang shopping Centre... Ate at Astons, the same teriyaki chicken as usual... Went Daiso after lunch and went back home after a bit of studying as i was quite tired already... I had a slight fever and flu... Overall, tired but happy... And of course, thanks for the bracelet and everything... For more details read Eng Hwee's blog...

Physics paper 1 was considered quite tough to me... Didn't know how to do a couple of questions... But i was lucky, guessed correctly about 5 questions... will at least get 30/40 for paper 1... Considered not bad to me...

Today, went to school and find Jia kiang in Computer Lab 3 only... I thought it was compulsory for everyone to go to school and study... And only Jia kiang came... Study til 2+ and then went back as we feel drained after that... Jia kiang gave me a birthday present too... It's a key chain... I love it... Thanks...

After the hell-like Physic paper 3, almost everyone(including me) behaves as if it is the end of A levels, you can see the basketball court being filled up once again... This is because most of the people who do not take physics, their exams have already ended and for those who take physics, their next paper will be paper 1 which s on next Monday... 6 days to study MCQ, not surprising... And for me, have been slacking for the past 2 to 3 days... Went school late and go back early have been my routine since Tuesday... But at least i study bit by bit... For the past two days, our school Library is almost empty other than a few JC2 (about 5) and some JC1 who is studying for their supplementary paper...

Review of mathematics paper 2...
It was quite challenging for me but most of the people said that it was a breeze... Anyway the mathematics answers are out already at www.mathsguidebook.com... can only get a low 70 i think... getting an A will be quite not realistic now... but still hoped that i can get an A...

Thursday will be physics... But i am not prepared yet!!! I must score... Can only work towards and hope for the best now....

Wohooo... Shall give a review of the papers i took til now:

Computing paper 1: Was totally caught off-guard... All those that i studied did not came out.. Instead it surprises us with questions that either too basic that i did not study or things that are on syllabus and our teacher does not concentrate on...

Mathematics paper 1: Was quite delighted after the paper... The paper was kind of similar with the 2007 paper, only with some attempts to hide easy questions to what it seems to be hard questions... Knew how to do most of the questions... Even time management was perfect... Did 8 out of 11 questions in 1 hour 30 minutes out of the total 3 hours... And after the paper, most of the people do not know how to do 2 questions which i know and i am quite sure that this will give me a small advantage over the rest... All i need is to get a low A for my paper 2 to get an A for my overall maths paper... But the problem is...... i am still weak in statistics that consist 70% of paper 2... Shall buck up now... Seriously, Ten year series works like wonders, all i did is that and i am able to do most of it... Shall carry on this method of studying...

General Paper: What a luck day!!! read 3 examples yesterday night and it became useful this morning during Essay writing...Only know 1 out of the 12 available choices... And i surprisingly broke my personal record and write 3 full pages, with 7points out of the required 5 points for my essay... All substantiated with examples... Hope that i can score for my essay... However, my comprehension wasn't too successful... The passage was easy, unlike the past, but the questions was tough... And for my Application question which worth about 8 marks, i think that i have wrote off point... And even for my summary, i wrote only 105 words out of 120... This means that i have lacked some points... All in all, i hope that my essay will pull up my General paper grade...

What i have to do now is to throw away all the incidents that will de-moralise me and pick up from there and prepare for the next paper... That's all i can do now isn't it?

Went school today to end up roughly what i have learnt for computing... Can say that i have finish studying for computing already...i haven touched maths for 3 weeks and math is my second paper... must do a bit more soon as i have roughly finish my maths too... Left with Physics and economics...

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY HWEE~

Went Eighteen Chef to celebrate her birthday yesterday... Food was quite nice... However what i heard about the hygiene wasn't too good... All in all, I ordered the chicken sausage baked rice with Japanese curry and two scrambled egg... Actually there is a student promotion that says: " buy one add on and get 1 free"... Yup so i wanted to share with Shannon the add on... Both of us ordered scrambled egg... However in the end, we found out that we can't do that and they have already taken our order as 2 scrambled egg each...

Went SAJC on Monday to study with Jas, Yin Xiu, Ke qin and Ren Zhi... The exterior was nice.. The interior got not much difference as compared to YJC except that it is much more bigger and quiet... I love the sign on their car park... It says: "DRIVE SLOW, your child studies here"... So cool... Haha... oh and i found a drawing being hung up there which was quite nice...

That's the picture... The focus is on the white paper... It is not another crumpled paper... It is hand drawn... Impressive right?

And today, went school and did some work... Had GP consultation with Jean cos hwee sore eyes + slight fever... Did a few questions and left school already... Super tired... It have been quite a while since i last sleep til i wake up naturally... Yup... That's about all...

Woke up quite early today... 7.30... Then i cooked maggie and drag til 8+ then leave for school... Studied for a little and went to eat lunch at 12... Left for Bishan library after that and did some econs... Felt quite tired and fell asleep... Ate at Manhatten Fish market at 4... Quite nice... And i am eating Bee Hoon now~

Went to Kathib Macdonalds to study with Jas, Hwee and sha yesterday... Did some econs too... We decided to learn cooking after a levels... Speaking of that, if nothing goes wrong, i will be taking on a job around mid December... As an office boy at NYP... Shall work for two months before going Army...

Went Cafe Cartel to study with Jas, Yin Xiu, Ke qin and Ren Zhi yesterday... Actually we planed to study in Bishan library in the morning... But because we did not get enough seats and we wanted to eat lunch, so went there... It's quite good there as there is free flow of bread and ice water... I ate some burger which i regret it the moment i see it... I wished i have eaten Zinger...

Today, went SAJC to study... Yin xiu can't make it as she fell sick yesterday night... Saw her on my way home today though... Saw our current council vice president there too, IN FULL SAJC uniform!!! Heard that he got scolded by the lecturer on Monday as he entered the lecture in SAJC without permission... If someone take a photo of him, his council post will be gone... Luckily, we are such good people... =P

Life of a mugger, Day 4:
Have been a mugger for the past few days as A levels are coming... First time being a mugger as i do not want to regret having disappointing results like the past few times.... I plan to complete the whole of math Ten year series over again by this week... 22 Chapters and i have completed 12... Still on schedule... I skipped some question that are before year 2000... Did 24 questions today... Went school at 8 for Computing Time trial til 10.30, then GP consultation til 11+... Then stayed in school and completed Maclurin series, Integration and Area Volume... Left school after that which is about 6... Math consultation tomorrow... Shall spam Mr wen with questions again...

Went school in the morning to study yesterday... Did quite a few Ten years series questions... Waited for hwee to finish her Computing and then went Ang Mo Kio for pepper lunch... Met Jennifer and Kenneth on the way out... They are going to watch movie but did not know where to go... After knowing that we are going amk, they decided to watch at amk too... Went there together to meet Jas and Ren Zhi... After eating, went to study at Mos Burger til 6+...

Went school again in the morning for Computing time trial... When i reach there, i was the only one outside lab 3... It was til 7.55 when Jia kiang and Shannon came... Only the 3 of us went to the exam venue on time... Waited 15 minutes for the late comers... Paper 1 was considered easy as compared to our prelim paper... Paper 2 is on Thursday... Waited for Hwee to finish her consultation before going to Northpoint for Pastamania... Went to study later while Hwee and Shannon went to watch Surrogates... they came to find Jas Ren Zhi and me after their movie... And then bade goodbye after a while... Yin xiu came in at about 4+ to bade goodbye too... Went home at 5.30...

Tomorrow's the last day of school... It seems that time really flies... I can still remember what exactly happened on the first day of school... We were discussing about the trip to Sentosa and i really hated Ash and gang as their ideals are always opposite of mine... And tomorrow will be the last time we will be having our last assembly together at YJC... 1 more month and it will be A levels and this is when our future and paths starts to diffract... Our lives will start to change and we won't really meet after that other than the graduation night... Thinking of it now, i am glad that i am going for graduation night on the last day of A levels... Those of you who did not go for the last gathering, i can ensure you that you will definitely regret... That's the last opportunity where we can talk about the wonderful or not-so-wonderful memories we have... I promised Ash that if I can make it, we will have a gathering every year... People, those especially in polytechnics, cherish your time together...

Then one person from every group is to stand up and answer a physics question... It's a true or false question so there is a high probability of getting it right... The one who got it wrong will have to stand behind the person who got it right... My group in the end lost all the way except for Jennifer... But i couldn't stand the way she answer the questions... Damn boring day today... 1st thing in the morning, the worst thing one can ever get: a GP essay timed piece... I did "Travelling is of no real value, discuss"... Wrote about 1 and a quarter pages... Nothing much to write... After that, had maths test on hypothesis testing and regression line... Managed to passed i think... And right after that, computing lessons!!!! Just went through prelims paper... Then Economics lesson followed by my only half an hour break of the day... Then Economics Timed piece... Did last year A levels paper... Confirm fail... Got back all the papers except for GP... Nothing wrong... First thing in the morning, Mr ho asked me to get my hair cut by tomorrow... Lasers and semiconductors test to study and case study to complete all by tomorrow... And OMG, ren zhi wrote 8 lines for his economics essay and got 6 marks of out 25!!!! Lol... Muthu wrote 2 whole pages and got 6... =.= I think it's pity marks....

First things first... I passed my GP!!!!!! 56 %... got a D grade for it... 71.7 percentile... Wohoo...
The rest of my results are as follows(the percentile are in brackets):
-Physics: 53 (60.6)
-Computing: 45 (57.8)
-Mathematics: 24 (39.5)
-Economics: 25 (13.9)

Results not that good, but results have improved as compared to Block Test... I need to buck up... The more disappointing ones were Economics, Computing and Maths... I thought i would at least get a C for computing, S for econs and an E for Maths...

Went out to celebrate Zheng Rui's Birthday yesterday... A lot of last minutes plans, but still quite fun...

Shall start blogging from Friday~

Friday: Wohoo!!!! Passed physics for the 1st time in JC2!!!! I still remember me being the second last in class during JC2 block test!!! And now, with more than 50% people who failed physics, i passed!!! After the good news, i went to the thai restaurant near my house to meet my secoondary school friends for dinner as donavan is leaving for work attachment on sunday, which is yesterday~
Went gladis's house to wish her happy birthday and then head home...

Saturday: Went Bishan library to study... Did not study much as maths paper was hard, even with answers... Watched "Turning Point"... It was superb... The only sad thing is it is only 1.5 hours long...

Sunday: Donavan, Bon Voyage~

Monday: Went Mos burger to study... Finished Maths paper 1 corrections... Finally managed to understood the answers... The paper was tricky, all set to aim at our common conceptual errors... Tried their new hot teriyaki burger too, it was quite nice... Love it... I rate it as high as their Fish burger... Had some argument about Men's "gut feeling" and women's "six sense"...Went home with Desmond after that when his work ended... Some quantity surveyor i think...

Tomorrow: Shall go to Bishan library to study with my Captain, Yin Xiu, Ren Zhi and Jaslyn... Will be another fun day tomorrow...

Wohoo... 1st time no need to refer to my phone for date... Prelims was a disater...

Physics paper 2: The most manageable paper out of all the prelims papers, made loads of careless mistakes though...

Computing paper 1: Quite challenging, damn angry over the last quest, i asked that in the morning and i never got an an answer...

Maths paper 1 and paper 2: Never seen a more difficult paper before... Completely different from those typical questions!!!

General paper: My summary only got 3 points and it is out of 8 marks...

Economics: Waoh... i just knew this morning that there will be 2 case studies instead of 1...

So in conclusion, there goes scolarship... Haha, kind of expected it anyway...

Ate quite alot recently, quite broke already.. Haha... Must start saving soon...

Got a good news and a bad news today... Good news was that the soccer season has started!!! But the bad news is that my favourite team, Liverpool, lost 2-1 yesterday despite the fact that the goalkeeper's performance was spectecular...

Today's practical was a disaster... Did not do that well... We only did 15 mins of the 2 hours and after that, teacher forced us to stay and finish our work before going home... Thus, i stayed till 4.30pm... Was playing throughout when doing the code...

Phew, finally a practical session that can make me say that... Finally found my error which i can't figure out for the past 3 sessions... Now i think i am on track now... Finished typing my question 3... Shall test my program and type question 4 if there is time in the next session... 3 hours left!!!

And i guess i am now more confident in my economics now... Managed to do better for case study which has more weightage than essay... 70% for case study and 30% for essay... As for physics, i still have been trying to improve... Mr phang wanted me to qrite out and answer the Learning Objectives for the first 10 chapters before Wedesday's morning consultation at 7.15pm, hope that i can wake up on time...

And lastly, the subject which i neglect most throughout my JC life,Maths... I am now super weak in Mathematics... Although i have a considerably strong foundation in Maths, i still can't do questions in the Ten Year Series... Honestly speaking, i quite admire myslef in JC1 as i completed lots of TYS questions... Shall go back to the mood soon... 98 more days to A levels... Shall buck up and preserve on!!!!

Phew... Finished my question 3 for A levels practical just now... As in the practice only... Now i need to remember what i have typed and reproduce the same thing tomorrow... Feel less stressed just now... I was stuck over a '==' for 2 hours... My actual practical was quite screwed... I am still at question 2 and i am now over the time limit... I have decided to do questions 3 and 4 first before going back to question 2 as i really can't spot my mistakes...

School was quite smooth-sailing recently other than the fast approacing A levels... Quite frustrated and tired these few days...

Whooo... Was finally late today... After so many incidents that i was almost late... Today, 1st thing guo bin enter the class for assembly (He was late too), he said: "Muthu, i know why you yesterday never come school... You go block the sun right?" Then everyone around laughed... Today wasn't a smooth sailing day... Apart from me going school late, i also did not complete my GP homework which is the 1st lesson... Luckily managed to copied all the answers from ren zhi before teacher enter the class... Oh and we were told to order our class photo today... Although i dont look that nice there, i still decided to buy all of them except for the level photo...

A level computing practical finally started... Phew... more challenging than the past 2 mock paper i took before... Managed to complete it today... Let's hope tomorrow will be a delightful session... Yup... Today's vectors tes was a breeze... Managed to finished the 30 mins paper 5 mins before thanks to the notes i wrote on sunday... It's an open test... However, it is still challenging due to the time constraint...

Studied with Jas, Lester and Marrisa(sound something like that) yesterday... Quite weird... 2 SA and 2 YJ... I never knew Lester was so serious when he is doing work...

Thinking Outside The Box. . .
You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night,
when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the
bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be
one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue reading.

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a
job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and
thus, you should save her first. Or you could take the old friend because he
once saved your life and this would be the perfect chance to pay him
back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up
with his answer. He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old
friend and let him take the lady to the
hospital. I would stay behind, and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."

1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professor
gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student
and had breezed through the questions until I read
the last one:

"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the
school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the
cleaning woman several times. She was tall,
dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her
name?

I handed in my paper, leaving the last question
blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if
the last question would count toward our quiz grade.
"Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers,
you will meet many people. All are significant. They
deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is
smile and say "hello."

I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her
name was Dorothy.

2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American
woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway
trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had
broken down and she desperately needed a ride.
Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car.
A young white man stopped to help her, generally
unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man
took her to safety, helped her get assistance and
put her into a taxicab.
She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his
address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a
knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a
giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A
special note was attached..
It read:
"Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway
the other night. The rain drenched not only my
clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along.
Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying
husband's bedside just before he passed away... God
bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving
others."

3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less,
a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and
sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in
front of him.
"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.
"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and
studied the coins in it.
"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the
waitress was growing impatient.
"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied.
The little boy again counted his coins.
"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on
the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice
cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress
came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the
table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish,
was one quarter, two dimes and five pennies.

You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had
to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a
roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if
anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the
king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by
and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the
King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did
anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of
vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the
peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the
stone to the side of the road. After much pushing
and straining, he finally succeeded. After the
peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed
a purse lying in the road where the boulder had
been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note
from the King indicating that the gold was for the
person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The
peasant learned what many of us never understand!
Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve
our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a
hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who
was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only
chance of recovery appeared to be a blood
transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had
miraculously survived the same disease and had
developed the antibodies needed to combat the
illness. The doctor explained the situation to her
little brother, and asked the little boy if he would
be willing to give his blood to his sister.
I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a
deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will
save her." As the transfusion progressed, he lay in
bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did,
seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his
face grew pale and his smile faded.
He looked up at the doctor and asked with a
trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away".
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the
doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his
sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Watched ghost of the girlfriends pat yesterday... Quite funny... But a bit unlucky... When i enter the cinema, saw pin gui sitting beside me... lol... Then after the show, he left 1st, but we met again somewhere near the lift... After that i went to Macdonalds and saw him coming in sitting beside my table after i settled down... Lol... Even pin gui himself, was shocked...

Today was a relatively good day, finished my practical and technical guide except for data flow diagram in one hour... Spent the other hour walking and chatting around... For tomorrow's practical, i only need to complete my data flow diagram and algorithm... So relaxed now...

Practically nothing much these few days... That's about all...

Just came back from school not long ago... Even though it's our June holidays now, we do not have a break, we still have normal lesson except that we do not have assembly... it was said at first that they will only have lesson on the 1st 2 weeks of school, but the computing teachers extended our lesson to 3rd and 4th week too... I wonder if they will conduct lessons too during our one weeks study break before exams...

Anyway, I had 3 hours break today so i went to swim with ash and shannon... Did about 2 laps freestyle, 10 laps breast stroke and 1 lap butterfly... Quite tiring but fun... Ate after that and then return to school to revise for my Normal test tomorrow...

Me being optimistic:
Wohoooo, tomorrow is the last day of term 2...

Wah, there is two(probably 3) extra weeks of lessons during the june holidays and the lessons are no different from normal school...
I got quite a few homework due tomorrow...

Today was quite a lucky day, Mr oun did not catch me for not doing homework, miss mok did not check my sloppy GP file and my programs sort of work out today i guess...

My basketball inter-house is tomorrow and i am in team A^^... Didn't want to join actually but Bruce invited me, so i agreed then... Honestly, i think we do not have a chance to win as they are a lot more college players in the other house...

Went to some computing science seminar yesterday... My attention span died out halfway... After that, i went to the Thai restaurant near my house to eat, but their food quality was quite poor yesterday...

I had a camp last Thursday after school til 10pm on labour day... It was great... It is known as the student leader camp where all JC1 student councilors and house excos must attend... The house exco decided to do a different camp from the student councilors... We have less than 2 weeks to planned but the result turned out great... All the JC1 house excos reflected to us that the camp will be perfect if the duration is longer... One more good news is that during orientation, although it's the student councilors who planned it, many of the JC1s thought that we house excos are the one planning it as we are more outgoing and friendly... When i heard that, my first reaction is like "Whao... We stole the limelight from them, we took the credit..."

Throughout the camp,i played many sports as we, the organisers, have loads of free time... I played Badminton, floor ball,Basketball and Frisbee... On Thursday night, we even have a night walk... Before the walk we told them not to look behind when they are walking as there might be something dangerous to scare them... Then during the walk, some of us are suppose to hide and pretended to be missing... After that, the rest of the JC2 will act like we are really missing and they have to find us... After the night walk, Mrs George order MacDonalds delivery for the JC2 house excos... It arrived at about 1+... After the supper, we play cards at the assembly area til 3+ before we went to sleep... One annoying thing is that the school's alarm is overly-sensitive that it rang about 5 times throughout the night... Even the police came and check it out... But one good thing is because of that, we did not oversleep... We have at most 2 hours of sleep that day...
On Friday, many things were delayed because of the talks held by some key personnel... As the JC2 house exco's do not need to attend the 1 hour + talk, we went to the PE staff room to get some sleep... After the talks were the most interesting event throughout the camp... INTER HOUSE TELEMATCH!!!! We played Frisbee... Peirce did not concede any goals til the last match before the finals... When we challenged Rodney... If we won the match, we will be the champions straight as Rodney lost one match previously... But we surprisingly lost to them which we have to play against them again... But in the finals, we won by 1 point... It was super close... It was mainly because both our playing tactics are EXACTLY THE SAME... Yup... But luckily, we won...

I passed my 1st test since school starts!!!! Feels so great... My study plan works~
I thought i would confirm fail after i took the test... But the result proved otherwise...
i got 16/30...
Although i just scraped through, but this instantly increased my morale...
Shall continue to work harder from now on...
I have been slacking quite a bit lately...
Fell asleep during maths and computing today as their lesson are really soporific...
I must change from now on or it will be too late...
My current plight is still far from my target...

It have been a long time since i last blogged...
It's because of the following reasons:
-Have been busy following my study plans which went quite smoothly...
-Started to train for napfa retest before June holidays start...
-And lastly,........ because it's my 100th post and i want to wait for some special event before blogging!!!!

Yup and obviously i failed as the next event,which is Track and Field Day, is still so far off... So i decided to blog...
My upcoming Events:
-House Exco camp
-Track and field day
-Cross country (maybe)
- Pass on to the JCs 1

Just appointed our top four Peirce house Excos...
They are:
-Lester(Captain), he pronounced my name as "Chewy" at first!!!
-Pin Dong(Vice Captain for sports), Quite a decent guy taking over my job scope...
-Gail(Vice captain for non sports), I believe Peirce house will get number 1 for cheer under her...
-Derrick(Secretary), He is good... Because he played basketball with me!!! Haha...

Other than that, our house have the most committee members supporting it... So i think Peirce house will go far this time...

Shall stop talking about House stuffs and change my topic to school work...
Physics:
Modern Physics is seriously interesting as it challenges the concepts you learn in primary and secondary schools but hard to catch up... Even if i can catch up, i still cannot provide substantial answers for my tutorials...

Computing:
I can still cope with the current topic, Databases, but the previous few topics is so foreign to me... Mdm Myl just can't teach well, he teaches too slowly which makes me sleep, then i can't follow after that already...

Maths:
Statistics are super foreign as they use too much symbols... must study them soon... And during tutorials, Mr oun also can't teach well as he just ask students to present... I must catch up soon...

Economics:
I seriously thinks that Miss kwok is PMS-ing everyday... She keeps giving us attitude... i still remember what happened a few weeks ago when she just come in to class, flashed the answers for us to copy, and then change slides even if we have not finish copying... She did that as some of my classmates fell asleep during her lesson because her lessons are seriously too dry... But she cant just give us attitude and do that right? I have been reading the lecture notes by myself so i still can survive without her...

Its seems like my time table for my whole week til A levels end is fixed...

-Ends school at 5.10
-Bowling training til about 9... ( I skip trainings sometimes though)

Tuesday:
-End school at 3.10

This is my "once" for the "Once a week" policy... School was still fun except for today when i almost fell asleep... The lecturer was teaching P&C and probability... Damn boring... Keep drinking water but still useless...

Get to skip my 1st 30mins of GP today as i need to attend some House Exco rally by the JC1s... I need to go there and "show face" only... Went for the meeting for the planning of track and field day... My main responsibility is just to guide the Jc1 excos and members to plan only... We did not have guidance from the previous batch last year because the previous committee was kinda screwed up... But one good thing is we have planned an unique and special track and field event last year... But we try to give as little baby-sitting as possible...

OMG... parent teacher day is tomorrow and i don't know what the teacher will say to my parents... My results are 3 Us and 1 S... All fail... Haiz...

OH MY GOD!!!! I failed all my subjects and all the teachers want to meet my parents during parent- teacher Day.... I am so gonna stop being so complacent and study hard and try to get top few for all my test from now onwards... I shall say this for the last time:

THIS IS THE LAST TEST I WILL FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Policies" to improve my results:
- I shall only go online once a week
- Take down notes during class instead of just plainly listening
- Instead of trying to study myself if i do not understand, i shall consult teachers for help
- Complete all my homework with 100% effort and quality
- Play less basketball during breaks and do revision instead
- Back out from A division and concentrate on work

This "policies" will be implement from today onwards and will expire after A levels...

Hope that i can get at least 3As for A levels...

Went for some bowling competition yesterday... wasn't that good... My concentration level just arnt good enough... I keep missing my arrow... I am damn bored!!!!!

Had fever on Friday, thus i did not study as planned and have to cramp many things and multi task for my revision...
The maths block test just now was terrible...
Although i don't think i will fail,but getting an A is just beyond my reach now...

No mood to study although there is a Computing test tomorrow... I have already finish most of the revision for Physics test on Wednesday... Just left with all the definitions to study... Haha...

it have been almost 2 weeks since i last blog... The main reason is because i was busy with lots of stuffs... And my Mid year blog test is just around the corner... I shall blog what happened starting on Friday...

Friday
Early dismissal as our school wants us to prepare for celebrating values day on the next day... So i helped a little and went off to NYJC to support Zhi peng for his Competition named "The one"... Met han hui there... He couldn't participate in the singing competition as he was a finalist last year... The performance wasn't bad at all except that zhi peng's group was a little off-form... Then went mac to eat some light snacks and then head home... Reached home at 12+...

Saturday
Had only a few hours of sleep and reached school at 7 to prepare for the opening of our haunted house... Most of the people in our class was late... After all those preparation, we changed into our costume and went to our respective positions... I was super high then... Everywhere i went, i will shout "Argh ghost" when i see someone...

Then i left at about 3 to the NUS open house... After the open house, i am starting to consider again which course to go.... So frustrating....

Sunday
Nothing much... Woke up at 1 and then back to sleep after breakfast...

Monday
Went to school for lesson... after that, i went to the library to study with my friend and planned to leave at about 5 to go for bowling training... But then nobody told me that the time have changed to 2... I got a call 30 minutes before the training start when i was about to start studying... I have to abandon my poor friend there... Felt so guilty... Went back straight after training to bu chang... Ate sushi and went home...

OMG!!!! Today i totally got no mood to study~

Just feel drained off as usual Thursdays...
1/2 hour break and lessons from 8.10 to 4.10pm... Plus Malay conversational lessons til 6...

Dreaming and drifting off to dreamland for majority of the lessons...

Physics test was hardcore today... Lucky i received some "tip off" from yang jie which he got from CTG 201... The class did the test before us... That saves me and most of the people from my class to fail super badly at least...

Have been trying to complete my homework and stay stress-free for the past few weeks...

Heard 1 bad news today...

The bad news is about Chee shiang, so i wont disclose it...

I am only left with Physics homework for tomorrow but i have a few test coming from the next week onwards, so i will back to my busy mode again...

Today...

Physical Education:
Did circuits training... Totally draining near the end... I realised that i am weak at sit ups after the holidays... Shall train soon~

Computing (Mr. Ho):
Totally cannot make it... After the one week gap, i realised i missed out a lot... About 1 chapter... Shall catch up soon too~

Physics Tutorial:
Managed to catch up slowly... Worked quite hard to get the concepts right... But the teacher mentee doesn't teach that well... Her english pronuciation is quite hard to understand... Need to study her answer and study myself...

Economics:
Missed out 1/2 a chapter and 3 exercises for homework due tomorrow... Shall study later to catch up later...

Physics Lecture:
Reach there extremely early... The lecturer weren't even there yet... Asked friends about the chapter that i missed out... The lecturer wrap up the chapter today... That means i have to study the whole chapter by myself...

Computing(Mdm Myl):
Although she did not teach last week, i forgot most of the algorithms as it was quite long ago already... Need to read up fast...

PC/CT:
Discussed about what we wanted to do for Celebrating Values Day... Did some plans for haunted house... It will be quite interesting... Guys, you all must go on that day!!!

Physics Test:
No comments about the test... lost a couple of marks... But passing should not be a problem...

Went to school yesterday for OGL training...

Two bad news...

I will have to stay back in school til quite late and on Saturdays for OGL training...

My bowling training starts tomorrow~

Ok... Lessons was boring today... Keep thinking *some text missing*... =P

OGL training was quite fun today, especially the shoe game....

It goes like that, we are separated into two groups, then we have to take off 1 of our shoe and put at the side...

Then we go to the other side to take a shoe that does not belong to us and find the partner within a time limit... Those who failed to do so will have to do forfeit...

1st day of school~
1st thing in the morning, get caught by teacher for inappropriate hair style...
Must go and cut later...
Lessons was boring but i persevered...
I shall continue to preserve to get good results for A levels...
My teacher said something pleasant today...

Just loved that...
Oh and we including the teachers just missed CTG 112, its quite awkward when the teachers call us CTG 210...

Wohoo~ I am not late today for my house exco meeting...Reach there on the dot...
But it was quite lame, just discussed a bit and then learn how to dance couple dance...
Those who went for PAE will know the dance but i don't because.......... haha... i skipped it...
But i couldn't escape today, so paired up with Priscilla(If it is spelt like that) and learnt the dance... Oh in order to be in OGL, i have to go memorise our school song, vision, mission, motto and values... So i have to read that soon~
